![]() ![]() The idea is that music on TV generally fails when it tries to recapture a big concert experience. Pretty simple, but very effective television. VH1 has a series called Storytellers in which great singer/songwriters tell a small audience the stories about how they wrote their best known songs. But in the spirit of VH1 Storytellers, it just might be worth telling the story behind the album - talking about how this particular album came to be. You’ve got the music… You don’t need someone telling you what it sounds like. Nothing is more useless than liner notes that try to describe what you’re already listening to. The Magic Bag is a wonderful place to see a concert. ![]() Her new cd is great and her band really does a good job of rocking out to it. ![]() Sarah is super sweet and signed a couple of CDs for me after the show and also let me take a picture with her. She always puts on a good show and she showns awesome in person. ![]() Sarah Harmer is an amazing artist to see in person. Rating: 5 out of 5 Awesome show! by fcwnej on 7/20/10 The Magic Bag - Ferndale. It seemed to take quite a while for the sound guy to ratchet down the bass, but all in all a great show. Sarah was amazing as always! She has a terrific voice and it was in fine form on Thursday night. Rating: 5 out of 5 by Chunkaway on 9/25/10 Aladdin Theater - Portland.I'll make it a point to see her anytime I am anywhere near where she is performing. My only complaint is that more of Portland didn't show up to see her. The Aladdin is a great venue to see any show, but Sarah was absolutely amazing.
